Vine has released a new version of its iOS app, which in addition to a bunch of bug fixes, also introduces two significant new improvements.
1. You can now use your front-facing camera to snap the app's six-second videos. When you tap the camera icon to enter the video capture mode, simply tap the two-arrow icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen to switch between your phone's back and front-facing camera.
2. You can now @mention other Vine users in your Vine video captions, or in the comments of other Vine videos. Just tap the icon of the person with a plus symbol next to it, then type and select a name to mention them.
Are you in favour of these new additions to Vine? What else would you like to be able to do with the app? Let me know in the comments below!
