As any Kindle writer will tell you, checking up on the current ranking of your book in the Amazon Bestseller chart quickly becomes something of a daily routine. The nature of sales means that I'll usually have risen or dropped a handful (or more) of places every time I check, but when I took a look this morning at 500 Social Media Marketing Tips' position on Amazon UK, I had a bit of a shock.

As you can see in the screen grab above, 500 Social Media Marketing Tips was sitting at #1 and #2 in the E-commerce Bestseller charts, the Kindle version occupying the #1 spot and the paperback at #2. This situation probably won't exist for very long or happen very many times in future, but it was definitely the highlight of a dreary Sunday morning.
